- Promote scientific and technological development related to genomic medicine in Mexico.

- Develop new therapy opportunities such as pharmacogenomics.

- Contribute significant savings in health care by applying the results of the scientific research conducted at the Institute.

- Foster production of new goods and services related to health care of the Mexican population.

- Provide the basis for a medical practice founded on the genomic structure of the Mexican populations and their epidemiological needs.
