The mission of the National Institute of Genomic Medicine (INMEGEN) is to contribute to the health care of Mexican, developing excellence scientific research and training high-level human resources.

High Technology Units meet for the first time in Latin America, three of the leading companies in high technology applied to genomic medicine. These technologies have contributed greatly to the analysis of the human genome.

The Institute also contribute to establishing the infrastructure for research in genomic medicine in Mexico, offers researchers a wide range of genomic analysis, in an innovative environment with technology.
